Work directly in Slack for a smarter workflow.
Your project teams already spend their day collaborating in Slack. The Mission Control Slack App lets them manage key project responsibilities there too.
The Mission Control Slack App is an add-on application for Mission Control that enables licensed users to interact with Mission Control directly from Slack.
Team members can create and access project information and see what needs attention, all without constantly switching between applications or leaving their flow of work.

Put project management into the flow of work. Keep project work moving without constantly switching between Slack and Mission Control.

Pull and Push information directly from your Slack channels. Give your team another way to interact with Mission Control from where they already collaborate.

Easily turn project conversations into project actions Capture important project activity while the information is fresh and the conversation is still happening.
Give people access to everyday Mission Control functionality without requiring them to continually move between Slack and Mission Control. Team members can log time and expenses, create project records and retrieve important information from the environment where they're already collaborating. Fewer interruptions help your team stay focused on delivering the work that moves projects forward.
Project reporting is only as useful as the information behind it. Making it easier to capture Actions, Issues, Risks, time, expenses and other project information when they occur can help reduce the likelihood of important data being delayed or forgotten. Better inputs create a stronger foundation for project visibility, reporting and decision-making.
Project Managers shouldn't have to be the human interface between project information and everyone who needs it. The Mission Control Slack App enables team members and managers to access useful project information themselves, including project status, open Risks and Issues, Actions and timesheet information. Give people easier access to answers and give Project Managers more time to manage projects.
Small interruptions add up. When routine project administration happens inside the tools your team already uses, people can complete those responsibilities with less disruption to their working day. That means less friction around project management and more time available for productive work.
An Issue identified today is more valuable when it's recorded today rather than reconstructed at the end of the week. By bringing project inputs closer to the conversations where work happens, teams can capture important information while it is still current. That can give Project Managers a more timely view of what's really happening across their projects.
Better project outcomes depend on visibility and action. When Risks and Issues are captured earlier, work is easier to track and project information is more accessible, teams and Project Managers are better equipped to identify problems and respond. The Mission Control Slack App helps turn everyday project activity into structured project data that can support better decisions and more predictable delivery.

Together, the Input and Output tools create a more connected project management experience. Your teams can spend less time navigating between systems and more time moving projects forward.
Create project information from Slack. Make everyday project administration easier by enabling your team to create Mission Control records directly from Slack.
Make time tracking part of the working day. Team members can log time against individual Actions directly from Slack rather than switching applications whenever they need to update their timesheet.
Capture hours while the work is fresh, helping improve the timeliness of time tracking while reducing the administrative burden placed on your project team. Once a Time Log has been successfully created, the user receives confirmation and can open the record in Mission Control.
Time Log confirmations are only visible to the user who logged the time, helping avoid unnecessary channel clutter.
Capture project expenses without breaking your workflow. Enable project team members to create Expenses directly from Slack and associate those expenses with individual Actions.
Instead of saving receipts or notes and remembering to enter the expense later, users can record project expenditure closer to when it occurs.
That can mean less administration for employees and more timely expense information for the project.
Turn conversations into accountable work. When a conversation identifies something that needs to be done, create an Action in Mission Control directly from Slack. Users can capture new Actions against Projects without leaving the conversation where that work was identified.
Help ensure commitments don’t disappear into message history and give your team a clearer connection between collaboration and project execution.
Problems rarely wait until your next project status meeting. The Mission Control Slack App enables team members to create Issues from Slack and associate them with the appropriate Project or Action.
Capture Issues closer to the point they’re identified so Project Managers have the information they need to investigate, manage and resolve them.
When someone identifies a potential project Risk during a conversation, they can record it directly in Mission Control without leaving Slack.
That makes risk management easier to incorporate into everyday project activity rather than relying solely on formal project reviews.
Earlier visibility can give Project Managers more opportunity to assess risks and take appropriate action.
Project requirements often emerge or evolve through conversations between project teams and stakeholders. Users can create Requirements from Slack and capture that information directly in Mission Control.
Requirements are associated with a Program, providing a structured way to move information from discussion into the project management process.
Help reduce the chance of important requirements being buried in conversation history.
When a project requires additional capacity or expertise, users can create a Resource Request directly from Slack. That makes it easier to turn a resourcing need into a formal request in Mission Control while staying within the team’s existing workflow.
Give Resource Managers earlier visibility of demand and help project teams move from identifying a resource requirement to acting on it.
Provide Project Managers, team members and managers quicker access to project information, directly within Slack & without asking someone else to find it for them.
Start with a clearer picture of what needs your attention. The Daily Digest gives users a personalised summary of what's happening in Mission Control directly within Slack.
See high-level activity across Today, Overdue, Upcoming and New items, along with items requiring approval, rejected submissions, timesheet information, what's happening today and what's outstanding.
Turn Mission Control data into an actionable view of the working day.
Surface a project Status Report directly in Slack to see how an individual Project is progressing. The Status Report provides an overview of overall Project progress together with progress across Milestones and individual Actions.
Give stakeholders easier access to current project information and reduce the number of manual status requests landing with Project Managers.
Retrieve a list of open Issues associated with a Project directly from Slack. Give project teams quick visibility of unresolved problems so they can keep Issues front of mind during project conversations and decision-making.
Better visibility can help teams focus attention on the obstacles most likely to affect delivery.
Surface a list of open Risks for a Project directly in Slack, giving the team immediate access to the potential threats currently being tracked. By making Risk information easier to access during everyday collaboration, teams can keep risk management connected to project execution.
That can help turn the Risk Register from something reviewed periodically into information that's readily available when decisions are being made.
View a summary of team Holidays for this week and next week directly within Slack. The view includes scheduled Holidays that haven't been rejected and identifies requests that are still pending approval.
Give teams greater awareness of upcoming availability when discussing work, deadlines and resource requirements.
Give individual users a quick summary of the Time Logs they've created for the current week. Instead of waiting until the end of the week to discover missing time, team members can check their recorded hours as part of their normal Slack workflow.
Make timesheet visibility easier and help encourage more consistent time tracking.
Managers and Timesheet Approvers can see a summary of Time Logs created by people within their team for the current week. That makes it easier to identify whether time is being recorded without continually switching applications or chasing individual team members for updates.
Spend less time tracking down timesheet information and more time managing your team.
Users can retrieve a summary of outstanding Actions assigned to them directly within Slack. Within a Project context, users can focus on their outstanding work for that Project. Outside a Project-specific channel, they can access Actions assigned to them across Projects.
Users can also move directly from an Action to logging time against it, helping connect work execution and project administration in one simple workflow.
One of the biggest challenges with any project management system isn’t what the software can do.
It’s getting everyone to keep it updated.
When entering project information requires people to interrupt what they’re doing, open another application, find the right record and enter the information, it’s easy for administration to be postponed.
The Mission Control Slack App reduces that friction by putting common project management tools directly into the team’s flow of work.
The easier it is to contribute, the more opportunity you have to keep project information current, giving Project Managers and leaders stronger information on which to base their decisions.

The Mission Control Slack App is an add-on module for Mission Control, extending key Mission Control capabilities into your Slack workspace. Your projects, records and reporting stay exactly where they are — your team just gets another way to reach them.

To use the application, users require a Mission Control license and a Slack license, and Salesforce Channels must be enabled. Slack App licenses can be assigned according to your organisation's requirements, so you don't need to give a Slack App license to every Mission Control user.

Input Components use configurable Field Sets, so administrators control the fields presented to users for activities such as logging time, recording expenses and creating project records. Each team captures what matters to them, and nothing they don't need.
Less administration.
Better project data.
Less chasing.
More productive project teams.
Better project outcomes.
The Mission Control Slack App is an add-on application for Mission Control that enables project teams to access key project management tools directly within Slack.
It allows users to both create information in Mission Control and surface project information from Mission Control without needing to continually switch between applications. The goal is to put project management tools directly into the flow of work for project teams.
Users can carry out a range of everyday project management activities directly from Slack.
Input features include logging Time and Expenses, creating Actions, Issues and Risks, adding Requirements and submitting Resource Requests. Output features allow users to view information including Daily Digests, Status Reports, open Issues and Risks, Holidays, Timesheets and outstanding Actions.
The Mission Control Slack App reduces the need for project team members to continually move between Slack and Mission Control to complete routine project administration.
By allowing users to log time, record expenses, create project records and access project information from the environment where they are already collaborating, teams can reduce application switching and spend more time focused on delivering project work.
Making project administration easier can help teams capture information closer to when project activity actually happens.
For example, a Risk can be recorded when it is identified, an Issue can be logged when it occurs and time can be entered shortly after work is completed. This can help reduce delays in updating project information and give Project Managers access to more timely project data.
Yes. Mission Control remains the underlying project management system of record.
The Mission Control Slack App provides another way for users to interact with Mission Control. Information created through Slack is recorded in Mission Control, while Output Features bring information stored in Mission Control into Slack for easier access.
Yes. One of the key benefits of the Mission Control Slack App is that project team members and managers can access more of the information they need themselves.

Yes. Mission Control administrators can use Field Sets to control the fields displayed within the Input Components.
This provides organisations with flexibility over the information users are required to enter when logging time, recording expenses or creating other Mission Control records through Slack.
No. Mission Control Slack App licenses can be assigned based on your organisation’s requirements.
A one-to-one match between Mission Control licenses and Mission Control Slack App licenses is not required, allowing organisations to provide Slack App access specifically to the users who will benefit from it.
Users require a Mission Control license and a Slack license, and Salesforce Channels must be enabled within your Salesforce environment.
Your Slack Administrator will also need to install the Mission Control Slack App into the appropriate Slack Workspace, and Mission Control Slack App licenses must be assigned to the users who require access.
The Mission Control Slack App is available as a paid add-on to Mission Control.
Pricing is $5 USD per user, per month when billed monthly, or $4 USD per user, per month when billed annually.
Because licenses can be assigned based on your requirements, you can choose which Mission Control users need access rather than licensing your entire user base.
