What is Dreamforce?
Dreamforce by Salesforce is an annual three-day tech conference held in San Francisco. The event brings the Salesforce community (salesforce admins, developers, architects, and many more) together for learning, community building, philanthropy, and fun! It began in 2003 and has evolved into one of the techy industry’s largest and most popular events.
All attendees can expect to enjoy a spectacle of Salesforce innovations and hands-on demos, countless training sessions, presentations from visionary keynote speakers, and networking opportunities, of course.
While Salesforce has held past Dreamforce events in San Francisco, COVID-19 saw the event go online via Salesforce+ in 2020, and in 2021. However, this year, Dreamforce will be back in full force at its San Francisco home. If you are unable to attend in person, there will be a virtual Dreamforce event available as well.
When is Dreamforce 2022?
Dreamforce usually takes place in Fall and this year its scheduled to take place over September 20-22. Save the date in your calendar, and get ready to buy tickets once registration goes live in July!
Entry Fees and Estimated Turnout
Dreamforce is a very popular event in the tech industry so expect to catch up with lots of your industry peers in San Francisco.
More than 170,000 people have attended Dreamforce conferences in previous years. With the conference being held virtually in 2020, and only a select few allowed to attend in-person last year due to Covid-19, you can expect to see way more attendees this year. Like us, many are excited to head be back to the Dreamforce campus in San Francisco!
Tickets for Dreamforce 2022 aren’t for sale just yet. Event registration launches in July, with ‘early bird’ tickets starting at $1,299 (which mean you’ll save up to $700).
The Salesforce Events App is a great way to keep up-to-date with all the latest news about Dreamforce 2022. Download via the App Store or Google Play to receive updates so that you don’t miss out on the early bird pricing.
The app is also an excellent way to start familiarizing yourself with the upcoming event. Salesforce will also be adding interactive maps of the event on the app to help attendees navigate their way around campus during the event.
What is the Agenda for Dreamforce 2022?
The agenda for 2022 hasn’t been released yet. However, Dreamforce events are generally packed full of sessions that provide opportunities to learn and be inspired.
Typically, the Dreamforce agenda includes certain key sessions so if you’ve never attended before, here’s what you can expect:
- Main keynote session: Every conference includes a keynote and Dreamforce is no different. In previous years it has featured the Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff. Expect to hear all about the latest Salesforce product improvements and features.
- Superstar headliners: Dreamforce is an event like no other, so it attracts high-profile speakers like no other! Every year, legendary speakers headline the Dreamforce conference. Previous speakers have included Barack and Michelle Obama, Jane Fonda, David Beckham, and Mercedes-Benz CEO Ola Källenius. We’re looking forward to seeing the 2022 line-up!
- Dream Pitch: A Dreamforce classic—here—entrepreneurs compete in a ‘Shark Tank’ style competition. The winner takes home a cash prize.
- True to the Core: Got any burning questions about Salesforce? Get your answers direct from senior Salesforce execs in this Q&A session.
- Demos and breakout sessions: Expect to meet with lots of Salesforce partners at the event. If you’re interested in their products, find their booth, and check out what they have to offer. The breakout sessions feature interactive customer sessions and Salesforce certification exam prep.
- Dreamfest: And finally, it’s party time! Iconic bands or performers throw down lengendary parties at the baseball stadium. This year’s star performer will be revealed later so stay tuned!
Dreamforce is packed full of sessions, many of which run concurrently. Pro tip: go in with a plan in mind as you definitely won’t be able to attend every single event.
