You may have read recently that Xero has signed an agreement with tech-led business advisory firm, BlueRock, to take over the WorkflowMax brand.
In case you aren’t aware of WorkflowMax, it is a cloud-based project management software made by Xero, whose features include quoting, scheduling and time tracking.
All great things, but Xero have recently announced its plans to retire the WorkflowMax product. Effective 26 June 2024 the WorkflowMax product will no longer be available to use.
There are plans afoot to offer a new job management solution with similar functionality to WorkflowMax which Bluerock expects to make available for customers in early 2024 as a potential alternative job management solution, but as you’d imagine there will be a lot of disruption over this period to customers, additionally customers will not automatically be migrated to WorkflowMax by BlueRock, and obviously the quality and depth of the new platform is an unknown at this point.
We don’t need to labour the point, this is all part of business and part of the ever shifting technology landscape, so rather than focusing on the negatives we’d like to offer WorkflowMax customers an alternative solution.
